【Takai Sushi Kappou】is a restaurant opened in 2021 and is located near Zhongxiao Fuxing MRT Station, offering convenient transportation access. The restaurant has a minimalist interior design, and its L-shaped counter can accommodate up to 12 guests. The dinner set menu is priced at NTD 3800 + 10%, featuring 16 dishes primarily focused on traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine, with only 2 pieces of nigiri sushi included.

The overall set menu was satisfying, and most of the dishes were delicious. The dining experience felt more like enjoying home-cooked dishes prepared by a skillful mother, rather than fully experiencing the unique charm of high-end ingredients.
In addition, the serving style was not very appealing. After being seated, we had to wait until all 11 guests arrived before the dishes were served. The 16-course meal was prepared and served all at once, giving a sense of queuing up to receive packed lunches. This serving method compromised the finesse of the presentation and also prolonged the dining time for the guests.
During the dining, there were groups of customers who were constantly talking loudly. Due to the narrow space of the restaurant, the entire dining process felt noisy. Overall, it is a restaurant that can be revisited if they enhance their attention to detail.
