It was opened by renowned female chef Chen Lánshū, who is recognized as one of Asia’s best chefs. The restaurant offers a fusion of French and Chinese culinary techniques. The restaurant’s interior is filled with a vintage ambiance, with soft lighting and a relaxed atmosphere.

The menu at 【gubami Social】 is not overly complicated and is divided into sections such as “Cold Dishes,” “Hot Items,” “Rice and Noodles,” and “Desserts.” The dishes that are marked on the menu are popular choices, and for the most part, they are all enjoyable to eat.

The Lyon-style pork pâte with pickled cucumber is aromatic, and the combination of the savory aspic and the tangy cucumber adds richness to the texture. The Nice-style autumn salad is a simple that combines Western-style greens with Chinese lotus root and bamboo shoots. A delightful fusion of flavors.

The Basque-style fried oyster pancake combines the flavors of oysters and Spanish-style baked eggs. The oysters are delicious, and the eggs are rich and flavorful.

The main dish, lobster yee mein, is presented with a grandeur as it is served with the lobster head. The lobster meat is well-prepared, tender, and delicious. However, it is disappointing that the yee mein lacks the rich aroma of lobster sauce. It tastes more like regular noodles.

Overall, the cold dishes and hot dishes have good flavors, it is a restaurant worth trying out and exploring.
