【coco Brownies】is located in the alleyways of Wenzhou Street, right across from National Taiwan University. It’s a popular spot where you can always see long queues during the weekends. It’s a rare opportunity to not have to wait in line, so I decided to buy a piece and give it a try.
Coinciding with White Valentine’s Day,【coco Brownies】has decorated both the interior and exterior with many hearts. The dark-colored theme of the decor creates a cozy atmosphere, and there are a few seating areas inside the shop as well.【coco Brownies】primarily sells various flavors of brownies, which are displayed in a colorful array in glass cabinets, making them look delicious.
The Walnut Brownies from【coco Brownies】are generously topped with walnuts. Brownies combined with walnuts should be an excellent combination, but there was a slight disappointment after tasting it. The texture of the brownie was a bit dry (personally, I prefer a moist texture), and there was a subtle hint of baking soda, which I didn’t particularly enjoy.
Indeed, different flavors may have different textures depending on the ingredients used. After all, taste and texture preferences vary from person to person. Whether one likes it or not is a matter of personal preference and individual taste buds.
